Periodontist
Dr. Kim is a Board Certified Periodontist and Dental Implant Surgeon. She received her Bachelor of Arts/Doctor of Dental Surgery (BA/DDS) in a 7 year joint program at New York University College of Dentistry. Upon graduation, she pursued her Certificate in Periodontology at Harvard school of Dental Medicine, where she also received her Master of Medical Science (MMSc) in Oral Biology. Dr. Kim’s research focused on Quantitative Analysis of Volumetric Change after Two Soft Tissue Grafting Procedures and presented at the Ivy Symposium on Periodontal Regeneration Infrabony Defects.
Dr. Kim enjoys traveling and exploring different food and culture, spending time with her friends and family, and playing sports such as golf, soccer, softball and snowboarding. She also likes to give back to the community, and participated in the Global Outreach in Grenada and served as the Director of Community Service in the NYU Aesthetic Society as a dental student.

Dr. Sari Johnston, DDS, MSc, BSc (H), is a highly accomplished oral and maxillofacial surgeon with an extensive educational background. She completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Western Ontario and a Master of Science in Clinical Anatomy. Dr. Johnston pursued an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, New York, with rotations at various prestigious hospitals. Her commitment to education is evident through her experience as a Course Director, Lead Teaching Assistant, and guest lecturer, where she has educated students on advanced anatomy and dental topics. Additionally, she has a strong research background, having worked on projects related to sleep apnea surgery and periodontal disease education. Following dental school, Dr. Bakhshoudeh completed a one-year general practice residency at Woodhull Medical Center. There he received advanced training in all facets of dentistry, including implant placement and complex surgeries. Dr. Bakhshoudeh was accepted into NYU’s prestigious two-year advanced education specialty program in endodontics.
In his free time, Dr. Bakhshoudeh enjoys reading, traveling, and being outdoors. His passion for fitness drove him complete an ironman triathlon.
