Pre-Dental Crowns Preparation in Manhattan
Our dentists will begin by assessment of the tooth. This initial step is essential to ensure that the decayed or damaged areas can be correctly and thoroughly identified and removed. After the decay has been removed, the shape of the tooth will change, making it possible to have a firm foundation for the crown. Such detailed preparations will deliver not only better retention of the crowns on your teeth but also results to last a lifetime for your dental health. We at Manhattan trust our expert staff to give you nothing but the best dental crowns suited explicitly for you.
Digital Impressions
At our office, we utilize advanced 3D imaging and state-of-the-art scanners to capture highly accurate digital impressions of your pearly whites. This new technology not only provides excellent accuracy but is also a perfect fit for your custom crown. The elimination of the use of traditional molds allows our method to improve comfort and speed up the overall process. Our precision will ensure perfectly fitting dental crowns in Manhattan with your natural teeth, both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Live the future of dentistry using our superior digital impression techniques, designed to serve up just what you need and want for your smile.
Temporary Crown
1. As a temporary measure, we will place a temporary crown over the prepared tooth while your custom crown is being fabricated.
2. The temporary acts as an artificial crown to protect the tooth and prevent any disruption in its functioning during the waiting period.
3. We make sure you can eat and talk comfortably until your permanent crown is ready.
4. These temporary crowns are made to be long-lasting, so you don’t need to worry about disrupting your daily routine.
5. Our dental clinic understands the importance of high-quality crowns in Manhattan. Our temporary crowns are one essential step in this process.
6. Once your custom crown is ready, we will carefully replace the temporary crown with the final product to ensure a perfect fit and aesthetically pleasing result.
Placement
Lastly, once the custom crown is ready, we shall remove the temporary crown and meticulously place the final product in such a way that it shall give you a very comfortable fit and aesthetic look. Our team takes their time to make any needed adjustments to ensure the best possible fit, excellent bite alignment, and aesthetic harmony with your remaining teeth. We form dental crowns in Manhattan using the most complex techniques and materials that not only restore functionality but also enhance the general beauty of your smile. After placement, we will give you an idea of how to take care of and maintain your new crown so it can last for years.
A dental crown may be recommended if you have a severely damaged, decayed, or weakened tooth that cannot be restored with a filling. Signs you may need a crown include large cavities, cracked or fractured teeth, or teeth that have undergone root canal treatment.
We offer a variety of dental crown materials, including porcelain, porcelain-fused-to-metal, and zirconia. Each material has its own benefits and limitations, and our dental professionals will discuss the best option for your specific situation.
Dental crowns typically last between 5 to 15 years, depending on the material used and your oral hygiene habits. To care for your crown, maintain good oral hygiene by brushing and flossing regularly, and visit us for routine dental check-ups and cleanings.
